In short

THOR is a reference tool: it displays technical data sheets for radionuclides. It asks for no registration, has no forms to fill in and collects no personal data. It contains no analytics, advertising or profiling tools, and shares no data with third parties.

Data the app does not collect

  • No account: there is no sign-up, sign-in or user profile.
  • No identifying data: the app neither asks for nor transmits name, email, phone number or device identifiers.
  • No tracking: no analytics, advertising or profiling tools of any provider are built in.
  • No system permissions: no access is requested to location, contacts, camera, microphone or notifications.
  • No cookies and no local storage: the app saves neither preferences nor identifiers on the device.

Whatever you type in the search field never leaves the device: it filters an already downloaded list and is processed locally.

Connections the app makes

To display its contents, the app connects to these addresses:

  • tritium-hub.it — the radionuclide archive. Requests are read-only and the only parameter transmitted is the numeric code of the data sheet being viewed. No user data is sent.
  • gweb.agency — opens in the browser only if you tap the “Credits” link at the bottom of the screen. From that point on, that site's own privacy policy applies.

The Nuclide Chart data comes from the IAEA (Live Chart of Nuclides), but it is our server that downloads and stores it: your device never contacts the IAEA directly.

PDF documents downloaded from the app stay on your device, wherever you choose to save them.

Data recorded by the server

Like any service reachable over the internet, the server hosting the archive automatically records the technical details of every connection: IP address, date and time, the address requested and the type of device or browser.

This data is used to operate the service and keep it secure — legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. It is not used to identify individuals, is not combined with other information and is not passed on to third parties. It is kept for as long as technically necessary and in any case no longer than 30 days, then deleted.

The servers are located in Italy: there is no transfer of personal data outside the European Union.

The following process data on the controller's behalf, as processors appointed under Art. 28 GDPR:

  • HOST S.p.A. — Corso Svizzera 185, Turin, Italy, VAT IT08505460017: hosting provider, data centres in Italy.
  • GWEB S.r.l. — Via Giacomo Matteotti 189/E, Cavaria con Premezzo (VA), Italy, VAT 03720110125: development and technical maintenance of the app.

Your rights

Within the limits of the data actually processed — in practice only the technical logs described above — you may exercise the rights set out in Articles 15-22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability.

Requests should be sent to info@tritium-h3.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).

Children

THOR is a professional tool, intended for people working with radioactive sources. It is not directed at children under 16 and does not knowingly collect data relating to them.
